2009/2010

2009 has been an up and down year. But none the less another year to be proud of. Made some strides in the right direction, had some set backs, but ultimately I can look back and say I had a nice year. Im not here to say 'I need to do this,' 'I need to do that in 2010.' 2009 was full of excitement, good times, hard times, smart times, fun times, sad times, rough times, proud times, time with friends, time with familia, new friends, old friends, cutting off lose ends. Lets start with some of the not so good things: The most recent having to put my dog, a beautiful black lab, of 13 years down on Dec. 18th. He was the most friendly dog you could ever meet. Was so lovable and he loved to love. I miss you MAXI. Two people I am close with going through divorce. First J. I hate to say it but I did say you might want to hold off on the wedding. But hey I was your Best Man and I was there to support you. And I had a great time at the wedding. But now its tough going through the divorce process. Trying to start a new life and start over. Second my Pops. I knew something was up and I kept poking around. You told me what was going on and I was sad when you called me that day. But with the long process of the divorce you have landed on your feet as expected and you always amaze me. I just hope I can someday be as good as you are. You are AWESOME. I also had a high ankle sprain, I have a messed up pinkie and got a concussion. All while playing basketball. They did not all happen in one game. Forget all that, lets talk about all the good that came from the year. Each person will look at this differently but lets start with 'Beach House 2009.' It was interesting to say the least!!! Overall it was a good time. A week off from work in Newport, I'll take it. Vegas for a few friends birthdays. And hey, we saw the beginning of a blossoming relationship. And they are getting married in 2010!!! And speaking of weddings my cousin Gabrielle got engaged and is getting married in September in NY!!! I quit my job at Sports Authority vacationed for two months and starting a new job. I got a two new tattoos. I jumped out of plane that was 12,500 feet in the air!!! AWESOME!!! Has a very nice simple birthday. Thank you to everyone that came to Fullerton to celebrate Halloween with me. Cut ties with some people that had no meaning in my life. And gained some that could be a BIG part of my life. But the best thing to happen in this year of 2009... My Sister, Brother-in-Law and Nephew all moved back to CA. They are now living in Vista. I could not be more happy about that. And for those that know me well ya'll know how much I care about them. He turned 1 on Nov. 19th. I got to spend my first Thanksgiving and Christmas with CJ. Great times. Plus my sister is due in Mid June. 2009 started off slow but finished with a BANG! We will start the 2010 year off right by finding out the sex!!! Looking to make 2010 a great year!!! I have plenty to look forward to and plenty to be thrilled about.

Amazing is all I can really say about this

This life that I have been so blessed to have

I'm glad you are in it

Deeply touched that you want to be part of it

Sometimes we all need a change

Be open minded and live with appreciation for what you have

We have all be given a gift to show the world that is certain

Life is constantly changing, so be prepared

Sometimes I'm just not sure about you

Because you seem to do all those things

Playing games like all the other girls do

At this point it's just frustrating

Then there are times when I think

Okay this is going somewhere

I feel like something big is about to happen

Something good, possibly even great

Sometimes I just feel like not even trying

Other times I can't get you off my mind

So what do I do?

Is it worth it?

There are times when I think

I'm not trying to be without you in the right moments

Think that this could be a journey that could last

Something I want to take my time with

This could be a life long quest

It may only last a short while

Regardless, I want to find out

You just never know until you open that box

It seems to be up and down with emotion

But I still want to try, want to test the waters

This isn't something you can just have

You have to have passion in this life

And it takes courage to live with passion

In that courage you will find happiness

Spread that happiness to others

And that will also bring you happiness

Truly being happy is what this life is about

It is what we all should strive for

So put in love, laughter, excellence, passion

It will come from there you least expect

From something that might be around now or in the future

Will all work itself out as long as you work

Because people enjoy being around those with affection for life

SO have a huge heart and open it up

And don't let others get you down and tear you up

Because we are all wondrous in our own ways

So show the world who you are and what you are about

Work hard and you will get what you deserve

Put in joy and smile, so people will enjoy you and smile at you

Because if you take the right steps you can obtain them

Alone and Lost

Sometimes we feel that we are caught up
That things we do in life are pointless
Sometimes we just simply feel alone
That no one understands or ever will

It's all just an obsticle for us to get over
And obsticles like fears are jus illusions
Just something to try to keep us down
But you can get past all of those illusions

We all have the power to get through
Have the friends to help us through, so make a call
The family to help provide us, so take the time
And the faith to keep on pushing on

When you feel down or are in a funk
Just understand that you have people who care
Some of us are here to help the best we can
Because we don't ever have to be alone in life

Look on the bright side of things
We are here for you and always will be
Our lives are precious and thus should be full
Of people that care for us and want to be a part of us

We are here to live in joy and rejoice
You should never feel alone becuase I'm here for you
