It's easy to throw in the towel

To Just pack it in

Call it quits

Simply give up and bounce

We could all look back

Dwell on our past

Get down and sulk

Give in to the pressure of not succeeding

No way!! No how!

I'm not taking the easy road

I have been knocked down

I've wanted to run and hide

None of that is going to happen

I'm on my feet grinding

Looking forward to all the great things

24 years have come and gone

All of which have been building blocks

Everything I'm going to attain

Personal Legend

I have my Personal Legend. I am on the path to that and nothing will get in my way. Just as nothing got in Santiago's way. Just like that boy I have had some bumps along the way. I have come so far to understand all that I need to do. I figured out where the answers are. They are in us. We all have what it takes to attain our Personal Legend. We have the understanding and the knowledge. The question is: Will you listen? It takes passion, courage and strength to get to our destination in this world, but once you get there the joys are endless.

You can fall short and let someone or something let you settle for the right now. It may feel good right now, but what about next year? Two years from now? Three years from now? Four years from now? In the first few years your heart will still desire this Personal Legend but as time goes it will fade and you will always be stuck with knowing you did not do all you should have done to really become who you are suppose to become. Listen to your heart. It is telling you to take action and walk the desert to attain your Personal Legend. It will not be easy but it will be worth it. To know that you went after your goals, dreams and desires without quit. You mustered up the courage to take it all in and become the one you are meant to become. The one who was put here for a reason, to become the one you are.

Random questions coming from me right? Well my pops and I were driving the other day and he was talking about his friend and I mine. Talking about how we measure each friendship. How we measure our love for someone. Ill tell you this all the friendships I have are awesome. Not a lot of people still have friends since elementary school. Friends that have stuck by me in all kind of ups and downs. Friends who have been willing to lend a hand. Friends who have listened. Friends who have given advice. Friends who are there regardless! I am thankful. You are very much appreciated. All these attributes you all possess are amazing. Looking forward to plenty of more great times to come!!!

Sometimes we lose our focus

Sometimes we lose our inspiration

So what are you going to when this happens?

Give up? Quit on it all? Stop moving forward?

Not Me! I'm going to keep pushing

I can get my focus back

It's a life of ups and downs

For some it takes a significant event

Others it may be a person to help

It can be in written word

It can be through spoken word or song

All of us find our focus

Find our inspiration that we need

In all different ways

Occasions that can change our life in various ways

It's up to us to keep that focus

Sometimes it all seems like a blur. Nothing seems to be in focus. But is it really distorted or are we just not trying hard enough? Are you willing to go beyond the breaking point, to the edge to put it in focus? It's there for us to see. For is to have. It's waiting on you. It's in you hands. It's on your shoulders. You have the power to take that blurry image you see and focus it into something deeper. Do so without hesitation. Do so with all the passion you can.

Step Up

We go through our trials. We have our tribulations. All are learning experiences. All of which are learning experiences. The question is are you willing to learn? Are you going to stand up and get through or will you just sit on the sideline and quit?

What is it going to take to inspire you? To get up and live. To trust. Trust, that your purpose is meaningful. Life is to short to live without poetry. To short to live without desire. To short to live without passion.

This world is mine for the taking, make me king. Words to drive us. To be better than we currently are. To reach beyond the stars and the heavens. You have a dream, you have a desire. Go after it.

Purpose

We have been put here for a purpose. We are suppose to spread a message to this world. We will do it all different ways. I feel I am suppose to write. I get better through faith. Faith in knowing I will reach those whom I'm suppose to reach. Those who need it. They will see my thoughts and be inspired. To change. To challenge. To have faith. To have passion. Trust in our god. Blessed with an ability to have my voice read. So others can have faith in themselves and god. So they can fulfill their purpose. People want to know. Want to believe. Believe in the above.
