No End

This is how it's suppose to end?
Just like that?
With everything going on?
The book is done?

No way!!!
This 'end' is just one chapter
A book that has tons of years left
I'm only 25 stories in

My book ends when I write 'The End'
I am no where near being finished
Not even close to being done
I controlthis and no one else

You want to take this from me
Go ahea and do your best
I'm strong enough to fight for it
Man enough to stand up for it

I know you see these words
I'm stepping out in this world
And this world is loving me
This confidence isn't going anywhere

This is a continous story
Only finishing when I let it
My book, my life, my rules
Stopping only when I'm laying with daisies

Always creating my stories
Not taking anything away
Haters and doubters come
I will show you I've got what it takes

No end in sight
No final product until I say so

All those tall buildings
Tons of people in front of you
The long road in the distance

So what are you doing about it?
You scared of it?
Is it to big for you?

Some people can't handle it
Others just don't want it
Folks get blinded by it
People even quit when they see it

Bright lights, inspire me
Tall buildings, drive me
People, make me dream more
The long road, making me work harder

I want to get there
I have dreamed my entire life
Set goals as each day passes
I will get there

The bright lights will say my name
The tall buildings will be home
All the people will be fans
The long road, will never end, so alway working

The journey is a marathon
